- I can think of three reasons. If you have lots of paths your system will look
- for a program first. If it finds one, it will run it. For example:

- RamDisk:> makedir copy
- RamDisk:> copy
- copy: required argument missing
- RamDisk:>

- Even if it doesn't find one, it still wastes time looking for one. This is
- a newsgrop for new users, some of wich have OS 1.3. No need to confuse
- anyone for something as little as not adding a cd. Or, for someone who has
- to work on a crap OS that makes you type CD allday, it might be easier to
- just keep typing CD.
